Open Day at Fontenebro
During the early years, children learn through their bodies, movement and exploration.
In the water, everything changes: new sensations appear, the body responds differently and every small movement becomes an opportunity to discover something new.
Baby swimming encourages gradual familiarisation with the aquatic environment and creates a natural, playful space to develop skills such as coordination, balance, confidence, curiosity and independence.
And all of this alongside the person they know best: you.

The session is for babies aged 0 to 3, always accompanied by an adult in the water.
No. The activity is designed to help little ones become familiar with the water through play and exploration.
Each baby takes part at their own pace.
Yes. Each baby will take part in the activity accompanied by an adult in the water.
For your baby, we recommend bringing:
Swimwear or a swim nappy.
A towel.
A complete change of clothes for after the session.
The adult entering the pool should also bring:
Swimwear.
Flip-flops.
We recommend arriving a few minutes early so you have plenty of time to get changed before the session begins.
Yes. Both parents can access the facilities and accompany the baby during the activity.
Depending on capacity, only one adult per baby may be able to enter the pool. We will let you know before the session begins.
Yes. Changing rooms will be available for babies and adults before and after the session.
No. The activity is completely free.
Yes. Places are limited and advance registration is required in order to take part.

The early years are full of firsts. First movements, first sensations, first challenges and first little achievements.
Water is one of those environments where babies can discover so much: new ways to move, respond, coordinate and gradually build confidence, always accompanied by an adult.
On Saturday, 17 October, we are opening our pool for a free baby swimming session for children aged 0 to 3, accompanied by an adult.
A morning to enjoy together, explore the water through play and give little ones a different kind of experience, always respecting their own pace.
The activity is free and places are limited. Advance registration is required.
The adult’s presence is an essential part of the activity.
Each baby enters the water accompanied by an adult and can explore from the security of a familiar person, discovering new sensations and movements at their own pace.
During the session, we will combine:
Gradual familiarisation with the water.
Games and movements adapted to each age.
Body and sensory exploration.
Coordination and balance.
Growing confidence and independence.
Interaction between baby and adult.
A simple, enjoyable experience designed to be shared together.
